Why did you originally get into sales? What's your Advice?

I originally got into sales because I love being able to connect with people and delivering a solution that fits a need. Working in sales requires hustle and grit, and I like to work in an environment that is people oriented. The ceiling for what you can accomplish is high in sales, and everything in life is a sale. My advice for people breaking into sales is to first decide what industry interests you, and leverage connections. The journey in sales is never ending, and is a great place to be. 

 

I moved to NYC in 2021 after landing a job in medical sales. From living in NY, I have found that working in sales has changed my ability to connect with people outside of work and across different industries. When i’m not working in sales, I enjoy weightlifting, creating content, and learning new languages. I find that sales has given me a foundation to show up in other areas of life with a different toolkit of people skills. In my current job i’m ranked as the #1 representative for Q1 2024 across the nation for overall goal attainment, and #6 for Q2 (compared to 252 others). â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹
